Tonweyawin, which translates into 'scout woman', is a Shetona female hailing from the far West, more precisely from Yyasulani.Borm in a traditional Shetona village setting, Tonweyawin was raised predominantly by her mother until adulthood alongside her sole sister. She grew to be very close to her family and learned to cherish it dearly, at least at the time. Her father, a Viper named Nash'pya, would often be far too busy to be present at all times or to be a proper father figure, and yet Tonweyawin always gravitated to him for he was her icon and role model in life. Even if not always present, the man would put his family above everything else while his views and beliefs would pass on to her, including an innate hatred for polygamy - as her father refused all other women other than his wife, despite the pressure of their tribe. A village rather remote and secluded, they rarely had visitors from outside and they enjoyed their peace and quiet while living closely together with nature.However, youth and its volatile nature, Tonweyawin was drawn to the bigger settlements and so she would often disappear for suns, and then weeks, exploring the lands of Shaaloani. It was there that she began indulging in far too many vices and at an age which would be considered unwise. Falling into a rougher crowd, it began to shape her mentality into that of a troublemaker and delinquent. Frequenting the saloons and getting into mischief left and right, it was a downwards spiral and very quickly began to ignore the importance of family and simply never returned. Her new family was her newfound freedom.Joining a society heavily based on coin rather than nature and the belief that it would procure all one would ever need, the desire for trouble became an actual need. Having to finance a new lifestyle as well as simply needing to satisfy basic needs, petty troubles turned to actual crime. While small in nature, it was crime nonetheless. Tonweyawin never became anyone worthy of notice but her efficiency and skills would be easily proven by the fact that she was still alive, unlike many others with whom she ran. A filthy opportunist with no scruples, the moniker 'The Vulture' was bestowed upon her, for she would often steal from the freshly dead or any easy pickings she could encounter, without any remorse whatsoever. Her skills lay in lockpicking, sweet-talking and being quick on her feet. As well as fantastic gambler and a cheat when pushed to it. The many departments in which she fails, she hopes her charisma will make up for it - or so she'd like to believe.
ㅤ⫷Appearance⫸ㅤ
Tall and well built, Tonweyawin is a clear product of a tribal people who live by working the lands and exploiting its riches smartly whilst not abusing mother nature and promoting the cycle of life to continue uninterrupted.Agile, dexterous and toned, summers of hunting and foraging have prepared her brilliantly for the life of a delinquent. Such erratic lifestyle couldn't come with a few cuts and bruises, and the Shetona has plenty of them all across her body and she appears to wear them gladly, as they are like a roadmap to all her troubles that she had gone through, and the amount of bruises and scars just keeps increasing. Either a testament to her crazy lifestyle, or her incompetence. Most likely the latter.Bright green eyes stand out against her tan skin. Tribal Shetona tattoos decorate her face, with markings at her forehead and chin in thick black ink. If one were to focus, the same tattoos can be seen adorning her skin along her arms and around her collarbone.Feathers and beads can often be found adorning her curly jet-black hairs, which are kept short for comfort, promoting her rather tomboyish appearance. While Tonweyawin is by no means ugly, she is not particularly effeminate or lady-like. Never one to wear pretty dresses, skirts, or any preppy clothing; she values convenience and ease of wearing. Trousers, boots and a simple shirt are her favoured choice. From arid lands, she wears clothes in varying shades of browns or beige.Like many of her people, she can be seen wearing a choker around her neck, or a simple bandana which was woven by her mother, sporting folkloric designs from her village. While not very feminine, she does wear traditional Shetona golden earrings and cuffs in her ears.While one would never see her use it, Tonweyawin will always be seen with her rifle slung across her back. A traditional Shaaloani wooden rifle, and how she came to acquire such is unknown. How she even uses it is a mystery as well.
ㅤ⫷Personality⫸ㅤ
Easy to approach and always there with a wide grin on her face, the Shetona comes across as a rather bubbly person and an immense social butterfly - always eager for conversation with just about anyone.Down to have a good time, that can mean just about anything for the troublemaker. From meeting handsome men, to gambling, to getting into trouble, or simply stuffing her face with the greasiest food available. Low-maintenance and easy to please, it is very simple to get along with her, unless one would actively seek to insult her. Even so, the Shetona is so laid back that she'd simply walk away instead of retaliating.Tonweyawin is ready to always deliver some smart aleck comment, but it tends to come across as just stupid to most, yet hilarious to her own ears. Childish, playful and obnoxious but with a merry attitude and seemingly good nature. However, under the happy-go-lucky persona is a hardcore realist. Well aware of the unfairness of life, she is intent to always come out on top, no matter the dirty tactics she must resort to. Not outwardly cruel, but if it is a matter of life or death - the choice is easy and she won't hesitate. Living for so long, most people are but a moment in her life and she grew to accept it with relative ease. While she seems to value those around her and appears to treat them highly, it is rather distant from the actual truth. All people are temporary, one way or another, and Tonweyawin rarely looks at people as anything more but mere potential loot for her once they kick the bucket.
ㅤ⫷Combat⫸ㅤ
A skilled huntress from birth, Tonweyawin is a child of the wilds who embraces the natural world around her and uses it to her advantage brilliantly. Whether those be jungles, deserts or a mere meadow - she will always find a way to gain the upper hand. However, in enclosed spaces, that is where she is forced to depend on others.Agile, light on her feet, and flexible - the woman has fantastic stamina and endurance as she may scale any obstacles with decent ease as well as maneuver swiftly no matter the terrain. The areas where she is lacking are certainly strength and she does not hide this aspect or create fake illusions around it. Ideally, she is a strong support at the back, holding down the line with her deadly aim.Coming from a tribal background, her weapons of choice are certainly her bow and arrow as well as spears. A scout before leaving her tribe in Yyasulani, Tonweyawin is a brilliant archer with an eye for detail. Her skills with a spear are nothing to scoff at but they are visibly not her forte. Ever since she arrived in Shaaloani, a fascination with firearms quickly won her over and the woman began alternating between her skills of an archer and that of a markswoman. Often, she can be found applying gunpower satchels to her arrows whenever she'd seek to incinerate enemies. Alternatively, poisons would be smeared onto the arrow tips.Whilst not a trained mage, she is still well-versed in the usage of aether, and can be often seen channeling it into her aim to propel her arrows with deadly accuracy and speed befitting a bullet to carve into enemies. Distinctly, those well attuned can sense the woman is heavily wind-aspected. Powerful gusts and gales are created around her form should the woman get desperate in combat or be exposed to heavy concentrations of aether. Control is lost and she enters a Mist frenzy - something which her Viera counterparts are known to suffer from.

ㅤIndigenous Character BackgroundㅤㅤTonweyawin is heavily inspired by indigenous people (Lakota tribe primarily) thrust into the era of colonisation. Be aware that I take some creative liberties to add far more colour and realism to the character - all within logical limits without ever breaking any lore

ㅤShetonaㅤㅤHailing from Yyasulani, Tonweyawin knows well the many regions of Tural and being homesick, she gladly meets with those from her part of the star, especially fellow Shetona or people from Shaaloani where she had been residing for many summers until recently
ㅤTroublemakerㅤㅤIt is evident that there is a glint of mischief in her eyes and any potential little schemes are bound to get her attention, as well as desire to partake
ㅤSurvivalistㅤㅤTribal life has prepared the woman splendidly to living off the land no matter how remote or where it may be. Whether it be camping, hunting, or foraging, the woman is a natural and can easily impart the knowledge onto others
ㅤEasy MoneyㅤㅤLiving on pennies, the Shetona often seeks ways to secure a few extra gil. Any quick-money schemes are right up her alley, even if they spell disaster. Desperation makes many turn a blind eye, and she is no exception. No job is too dirty for her especially if it's easy as the woman is far too laidback
ㅤSocial ButterflyㅤㅤCharisma is certainly her highest stat if it were a thing. While social, it does also often get her into trouble. But to her, that is still a successful interaction and she thrives on talking to people as there is always something to learn
ㅤHeavy SmokerㅤㅤThe smell of tobacco on her is particularly strong. Anyone with a strong sense of smell, beware. Often found rolling her own cigarettes, it almost looks therapeutic for the woman; using finely pressed corn husks and the cheapest blends of tobacco available on the Turali markets
ㅤFirearmㅤㅤAlways with her rifle slung across her back, it may be an eyecatcher. The design is visibly not Eorzean and looks particularly rough along the edges. Even she has no clue where it is from if asked
ㅤCompanionㅤㅤTonweyawin can often be seen in the company of a Tonawawta man, and their dynamic is visibly rather broken. And yet she remains at the man's side
ㅤHello Good Lookin'ㅤㅤHandsome men are certain to draw her attention and she will gladly try her luck with them. More often than not, the woman merely makes a fool of herself with the most ridiculous pick up lines and simply ends up drowning her sorrows at the bar when she fails

ㅤ"Found, not Stolen"ㅤㅤBeing a scavenger, it is not uncommon to find her wearing on her person various items that she had 'found'. It may also be that someone recognises these items and may accuse her of stealing. These can range from trinkets, actual articles of clothing, knives, wallets... etc.
ㅤTent DwellerㅤㅤNot a fan of the indoors, as she feels claustrophobic, Tonweyawin always sleeps under the stars. A modest little camp usually setup on the outskirts of any settlements. It would not be impossible for one to come across her little haven in the dead of night while she is snoring away soundly
ㅤGamblingㅤㅤA horrible vice but one to which she got introduced at a young age. And ever since she discovered the Golden Saucer - the rest was history

ㅤThe Vulture | Measly BountyㅤㅤA particularly small time delinquent from Shaaloani, very few would have heard of her. Most likely none. But, perhaps paths were crossed or someone caught her pilfering from the dead or pickpocketing the living. She is truly nothing special or noteworthy and her bounty is borderline peanuts. But, those who are intent on earning their keep, they can certainly try to recognise the woman and bring her in. Posters lack any vital information apart from her gender, race and moniker
ㅤOutlaw RivalryㅤㅤIt wouldn't be shocking that the woman trespassed on someone else's territory and instantly made enemies with another criminal or outlaw. Tensions are bound to arise as well as disputes and confrontations. Or perhaps, if lucky, they will end at the bar accompanied by a drink or two
ㅤYyasulani | Solution 9ㅤㅤThose from the area would understand perfectly why Tonweyawin is no longer there and has a rather deeply rooted hatred towards the people who came from the dome and ruined her beloved land and family
